Oncoplastic surgery in thoracic wall´s tumors

Abstract

An observational, descriptive and prospective study was made with thorax wall´s tumors patients in the Cuban Oncology and Radiobiology Institute (INOR). This research took place between January 2000 and August, 31st, 2009. The statistic sample was 30 patients, of theme 21 males and 9 females. The main aim was to prove the thoracic wall operability and its reconstruction. The statistic sample was characterized taking in account the age, sex and neoplasia benignity or malignity. The diagnosis methods, therapeutics options, evolution and prognosis was particularized.
