Neurofibroma gigante en región torácica en la enfermedad de Von Recklinghausen
Abstract
El neurofibroma es uno de los tumores de la vaina neural que se da por proliferación de células de Schwann, mastocitos, fibroblastos y mayor producción de colágeno, es casi siempre benigno y por lo general es una manifestación de neurofibromatosis. Suelen crecer como masas bien diferenciadas generalmente se encuentran en piel o debajo de ella, tejidos óseos y retroperitoneales, siendo infrecuente en mediastino y órganos intraabdominales. Se describe un caso clínico que presenta neurofibromatosis tipo 1 de 23 años de edad, sin antecedentes familiares de padecer la enfermedad, presentando múltiples lesiones de café con leche, disfagia a los alimentos sólidos , semisólidos y una intensa disnea con dolor torácico, demostrándose una gigante lesión neurofibromatosa en hemitórax derecho.
