La teoría del déficit de autocuidado en la intervención del cuidado de la mujer con osteoporosis

Abstract

El presente artículo muestra un acercamiento a la teoría del déficit de autocuidado de Dorotea Orem desde una intervención de enfermería en la mujer con osteoporosis, por la necesidad del abordaje de sistemas de acciones que modifiquen conductas  y posibiliten  una atención de calidad en estas mujeres. El objetivo es exponer la relación existente entre la teoría del déficit de autocuidado y la intervención dirigida al cuidado en la mujer con osteoporosis, en correspondencia con la situación presentada. En la confección del documento se utilizó el método de análisis y síntesis, el inductivo–deductivo y el histórico–lógico. En el desarrollo y discusión, se partió de una revisión bibliográfica actualizada sobre el tema en varias revistas electrónicas para explicar el problema que generó el artículo. se concluyeque la aplicación de este marco teórico, contribuye a establecer los requisitos de autocuidado, las intervenciones demandadas, la necesidad de autocuidado en la mujer con osteoporosis.
