Manejo del Abdomen Abierto mediante la técnica de Bolsa de Bogotá Modificada
Abstract
El abdomen abierto se define como la técnica quirúrgica en la cual el cierre de la cavidad abdominal es diferido después de una laparotomía, el mismo tiene sus indicaciones precisas y estas incluyen la sepsis intraabdominal. Una de las vías para el manejo del abdomen abierto es la bolsa de Bogotá, la que por sus bondades es una de las técnicas más difundidas entre los cirujanos. Precisamente el objetivo general del presente trabajo es exponer la modesta experiencia en el manejo del Abdomen Abierto con la técnica de Bolsa de Bogotá Modificada en un caso de particular importancia por su tórpida evolución inicial y rápida recuperación después del empleo de dicho proceder. La modificación propuesta incluye el uso de un sistema de aspiración a baja presión que facilite la evacuación del pus sin favorecer la aparición de otras complicaciones. La técnica que se presenta demostró, en el caso que se expone, ser capaz de mejorar el cuadro clínico grave que presentaba el paciente, además de mejorar los índices de morbi-mortalidad asociados a esta técnica.
