Aplicación de las teorías y modelos de enfermería a la atención en la cirugía cardiovascular
Abstract
En el presente trabajo se demuestra la aplicación y vigencia de las teorías y modelos en la prestación de los servicios de enfermería, vinculados a la especialidad de cirugía cardiovascular, a partir del protocolo de intercambio, investigación, diagnóstico, tratamiento general y específico para cada paciente según las enfermedades relacionadas con la especialidad. Analizamos la posibilidad de integrar los modelos de las teóricas Virginia Henderson y Dorotea Orem, defendiendo las necesidades de satisfacer en este grupo de pacientes los diagnósticos de enfermería y la conducta a seguir, así como la identificación del modelo específico para planear los cuidados a brindar, en base a los resultados que deseamos lograr.
