Colangiopancreatografía por resonancia magnética y colangiopancreatografía retrógrada endoscópica en enfermedades biliopancreáticas

Abstract

Introducción. La colangiopancreatografía por resonancia magnética es una técnica diagnóstica no invasiva que permite obtener imágenes de gran calidad con resultados similares a los proporcionados por la colangiopancreatografía retrógrada endoscópica en las diferentes enfermedades biliopancreáticas. El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la eficacia de la colangiografía por resonancia magnética en el diagnóstico de las enfermedades biliopancreáticas. Métodos. Se realizó un estudio de evaluación diagnóstica en 84 pacientes que acudieron al servicio de endoscopia del Centro de Investigaciones Médico Quirúrgicas, en el período comprendido entre septiembre de 2011 a marzo del 2013. Resultados Predominó el sexo femenino (52.4%) y la edad promedio fue de 56.4 ± 15.9 años.La colangioresonancia en la coledocolitiasis presentó una sensibilidad del 96,30%, especificidad del 83,33%, valor predictivo positivo del 92,86% y un valor predictivo negativo del 90,91%. Las estenosis de la vía biliar, por su parte, mostraron una sensibilidad del 93,02%, una especificidad del 83,33%, un valor predictivo positivo del 95,24% y un valor predictivo negativo de 76,92%. Conclusiones. La colangioresonancia es un proceder útil en el diagnóstico de las enfermedades biliopancreáticas.
