Anestesia total intravenosa en la colecistectomía laparoscópica

Abstract

Introducción. La colelitiasis es uno de los problemas de salud que afecta a la
población adulta de todo el mundo. La Colecistectomía Laparoscópica es el proceder
quirúrgico empleado en estos pacientes. La práctica de esta cirugía implica una serie
de particularidades e importantes alteraciones fisiopatológicas. Estas son los métodos
abiertos, que obligan a un procedimiento anestésico muy especializado. Métodos. El
universo estuvo constituido por 981 pacientes colecistectomizados por cirugía
laparoscópica. La muestra estuvo identificada por 785/981 (80.0 %) sujetos en los que
se realizó la anestesia total endovenosa y se usó Midazolám como premedicación
anestésica. Resultados. En la serie analizada predominó el sexo femenino; el grupo
etáreo más representado fue entre 50 - 69 años, para ambos sexos. El estado físico
ASA II fue el más representado. Los antecedentes personales más frecuentes fueron:
la hipertensión arterial, la cardiopatía isquémica y la obesidad La complicación más
frecuente fue la hipotensión arterial. Con esta técnica existe una baja incidencia de
complicaciones fatales que mejora la calidad de la anestesia a los pacientes.
Conclusiones. La anestesia total intravenosa en la colecistectomía laparoscópica
ofrece una adecuada seguridad al paciente, debido a la baja incidencia de
complicaciones.
