Abstract

El infarto de la arteria coroidea anterior representa una forma infrecuente de ictus. La tríada clínica caracterizada por hemiplejía, hemianopsia y hemianestesia, raramente se presenta en forma completa y esta observación reportada en varias series, pudiera estar en relación con la inconstancia anatómica del territorio de irrigación de la arteria en cuestión y las variaciones de un paciente a otro. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo la descripción de un caso, se comenta las características clínicas, el tratamiento y la evolución, se revisa la literatura y algunos casos publicados.
