Nasoangiofibroma nasal. Una localización infrecuente en un paciente adulto
Abstract
El nasoangiofibroma juvenil (ANJ) es un tumor benigno poco frecuente que se presenta en la adolescencia, entre los 10 a 25 años de edad. Representa el 0,05% de los tumores de cabeza y cuello, su crecimiento es lento y se comporta de forma invasiva destruyendo las estructuras adyacentes, teniendo una predilección de la nasofaringe en el sexo masculino. Es un tumor muy vascularizado por lo que el síntoma principal es la epistaxis y la obstrucción nasal, el tratamiento es quirúrgico exclusivamente. Se presenta un paciente adulto de 35 años de edad que acude a la consulta por sangramiento nasal de 3 meses de evolución por fosa nasal izquierda y obstrucción nasal homolateral, al examen físico en la Rinoscopia anterior se observa una tumoración y el informe de Anatomía patológica informa nasoangiofibroma.Downloads
