Propuesta metodológica para la evaluación ética de diferentes investigaciones que no constituyan ensayos clínicos

Abstract

Tanto los protocolos como sus ensayos clínicos correspondientes son evaluados uniformemente por los Comités de ética de las Investigaciones, sin embargo no sucede por igual con otros tipos de estudio ni existe una guía que pueda ser utilizada por los investigadores. Se propone emplear siete criterios de evaluación, que serían, el valor, la validez científica, la selección equitativa de los sujetos, la proporción favorable riesgo-beneficio, la evaluación independiente, el consentimiento informado y el respeto a los sujetos inscritos. Se concluye que no siempre los CEI perciben la necesidad de evaluar investigaciones que no sean ensayos clínicos, que no existe una guía uniforme de evaluación, que esta propuesta no sustituiría los dictámenes de los CEI para los ensayos clínicos y pudiera utilizarse y ser perfeccionada, lo que ofrecería una herramienta útil de evaluación ética para cualquier tipo de investigación en seres humanos incluso podría valorarse parte de sus elementos y adaptarse para su utilización en investigaciones sociales, pedagógicas y del medio ambiente entre otras.
