Cardiovascular surgery, Nursing, post operativeAbstract
Currently, non-communicable diseases, especially cardiovascular disease, are a heavy burden on healthcare systems worldwide, and Cuba is no exception. Multiple epidemiological studies show that their incidence and prevalence in Cuba are similar to the rest of the world. This problem will continue to increase as survival rates and population aging increase. According to Cuba's statistical yearbook, heart disease caused the deaths of 44,780 people in 2022, representing a 10% increase compared to the previous year.
