Abstract

El envejecimiento poblacional, situación que en la actualidad enfrenta la humanidad, se asocia con la polimedicación por las múltiples  enfermedades crónicas que padecen los adultos mayores. Es importante abordar el tema de la polimedicación en el adulto mayor por ser un problema de salud que afecta a más del 70 por ciento de este grupo etáreo. El objetivo de este documento es incentivar un envejecimiento saludable.
