Utilización de endoprótesis autoexpandible en oclusión aguda por tumor de colon. Presentación de casos

Abstract

Se describe la utilización endoscópica de prótesis autoexpandible en dos pacientes con oclusión mecánica aguda de colon izquierdo, tratados en el servicio de urgencias, lo que nos permitió mejorar el estado hidroelectrolítico y sintomático de los pacientes, así como la preparación del colon, que permitió evitar la cirugía de urgencia y colostomía descompresiva, los pacientes fueron programados e intervenidos quirúrgicamente a los cinco días. No hubo complicaciones postoperatorias. Se obtuvieron como resultados anatomopatológicos, adenocarcinomas de colon en anillo de sellos, un paciente en colon descendente y el otro en colon sigmoides.
