Calidad de vida y trasplante renal. Una necesidad a investigar

Abstract

Aunque el trasplante trae consigo una serie transformaciones positivas en el funcionamiento de un órgano o sistema determinado, reduciendoal máximo los riesgos para la vida de ese individuo, así como la sintomatología que lo hacía sufrir, ello no implica ineludiblemente una mejoría en la calidad de vida, al menos como la percibe la persona. Más que una enfermedad, perfiles o patrones de comportamiento y valores definidos que nos engloben la calidad de vida de un grupo de personas con un mismo padecimiento, ignorando sus vivencias personales, debemos tener presente una perspectiva de análisis más psicosocial, más centrada en el ser humano como máximo protagonista de su propia vida. Es por ello que realizamos un análisis más individualizado de la calidad de vida en estas personas, específicamente en los pacientes trasplantados renales.
