Epidemiología de la enfermedad renal crónica y los factores de riesgo relacionados con la supervivencia
Abstract
La visión epidemiológica de la enfermedad renal crónica ha cambiado notablemente y en la actualidad se reconoce que afecta un porcentaje significativo de la población. Sus causas principales se encuentran en entidades de una alta prevalencia como la hipertensión arterial, la diabetes mellitus y las enfermedades vasculares. El estimado de pacientes en diálisis aumenta. La superviviencia por competencia de riesgo y con el advenimiento de nuevos tratamientos prolonga su vida, lo suficiente para desarrollar una lesión renal progresiva. Se revisan algunos factores de riesgo que influyen en la superviviencia del paciente con enfermedad renal crónica.Downloads
