Acantosis como síndrome paraneoplásico de adenocarcinoma de recto. Presentación de un caso
Abstract
Los síndromes paraneoplásicos son diversas entidades sintomáticas no relacionadas con el tumor ni su diseminación, que constituyen diversas manifestaciones provocadas por el cáncer, en lugares no directamente afectados por la enfermedad maligna. Se presenta una paciente de setenta y dos años, que acudió a consulta de dermatología por presentar cambios de coloración en la región perianal, diagnosticándose como acantosis. Siete meses después comienza a presentar molestias abdominales difusas y alteración del ritmo intestinal. Se realizó rectosigmoidoscopia, donde se observa en recto una masa tumoral, inmediatamente al pasar el esfínter a 1 cm aproximado del reborde anal. Al tacto rectal: dura, mamelonada y muy friable, donde se toman biopsias. El resultado de anatomía patológica fue un adenocarcinoma de recto mucosecretor tipo coloide.
