Carcinoma adenoideo quístico de tráquea. A propósito de un caso

Abstract

Los tumores de tráquea son poco frecuentes. Dentro de ellos el carcinoma adenoideo quístico es una neoplasia rara y se ha demostrado que no tiene relación significativa con el tabaquismo. En el presente trabajo se presenta el caso de una paciente femenina de 45 años que acude al cuerpo de guardia con falta de aire acompañada de tos húmeda con expectoración verdosa abundante, fiebre hasta 39ºC y pérdida de 6 Kg de peso en 6 meses. El Rayos X de tórax realizado en servicio de urgencias es normal, se le impone tratamiento no obteniendo respuesta al mismo por lo que se decide realizarle una tomografía axial computarizada. Se demuestra la presencia de una lesión endotraqueal.
