Tratamiento estético rehabilitador dental. Presentación de un caso

Abstract

La estética dental puede ser el resultado de una combinación de especialidades estomatológicas en aquellos pacientes en los cuales pudiera estar afectada. La línea de trabajo para estos casos consiste en combinar todos los procederes terapéuticos para lograr una rehabilitación funcional y principalmente estética. Este trabajo se basa en la presentación de un paciente adulto con coronas clínicas de longitud inciso-cervical disminuida por un bruxismo marcado, y maloclusión. El plan de tratamiento estuvo dirigido a una cirugía para lograr un remarginado gingival con alargamiento de las coronas clínicas del paciente, tratamiento ortodóncico con aparatología fija para corregir la maloclusión anterior y rehabilitación protésica de los cuatro incisivos superiores con corona de metalcerámica.
