Técnica epidural transforaminal en el síndrome de cirugía de espalda fallida por primera vez en Cuba
Abstract
El síndrome de cirugía de espalda fallida constituye un desafío para los clínicos del dolor. Su aparición cada vez más frecuente, la dificultad de encontrar la verdadera causa dell mismo y la posibilidad de ofrecer una terapéutica conservadora efectiva, es un verdadero reto. El 20% de los pacientes que son atendidos en la Clínica del Dolor del Centro de Investigaciones Médico Quirúrgicas con sacrolumbalgia y cérvicobraquialgia corresponden a este síndrome. La técnica peridural translaminal con esteroides utilizada clásicamente, no permite administrar los mismos en el sitio exacto de la lesión, por lo que se introdujo en nuestro país y en nuestro centro la técnica transforaminal bajo control fluoroscópico. Se han obtenido un 80% de óptimos resultados y no se han observado complicaciones.Downloads
