La violencia en los dibujos animados norteamericanos y japoneses: su impacto en la agresividad infantil

Abstract

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo la comparación de dos tipos de animación con contenido violento y su posible efecto sobre la agresividad infantil. Para esto, se utilizó un diseño cuasiexperimental con preprueba-posprueba y se trabajó en una escuela primaria particular con dos grupos experimentales y uno control. A todos los participantes se les aplicó una preprueba, posteriormente, a los grupos experimentales se les proyectó dibujos animados con contenido violento; uno de ellos estadounidense y otro japonés. En cambio, al grupo control se le presentó un programa cómico. La proyección tuvo una duración de 66 minutos; concluida esta, se aplicó una posprueba a los tres grupos. El resultado fue estadísticamente significativo para esta muestra e indica que los dibujos animados norteamericanos y japoneses, sí tuvieron efecto sobre el nivel de agresividad general en los niños de los grupos experimentales, siendo la agresión de tipo «A» la presentada con más frecuencia.
