Dificultades del aprendizaje y factores asociados: criterios del personal docente

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio epidemiológico, descriptivo, retrospectivo, de corte transversal donde se utilizaron métodos y técnicas cuanti-cualitativas, con el objetivo de identificar y conocer la opinión de los educadores sobre la dificultad para aprender en niños de primero a cuarto grado de la escuela primaria «Las Clavellinas», del municipio Playa. Se constató que las dificultades del aprendizaje eran más frecuentes en el sexo masculino, así como el desconocimiento por parte del personal educador de la influencia directa de los factores biológicos sobre el aprendizaje. Los niños con dificultades del aprendizaje tienen más de un factor asociado con un predominio de los problemas familiares. El manejo de estos niños se realiza fundamentalmente desde el punto de vista pedagógico.
